Last month, the Highland Unit took part in their annual Staff Team Challenge. It took place at the Horses In Clover Sanctuary near Cromarty. Over the space of 2 days, the team knuckled down and managed to clean and decorate their new Welfare Station, build some new chicken coops, clean the kitchen inside the main house and, most importantly, paint the outside of the house. The team also managed to come together and donate 10 bales of hay, several bags of carrots and also some new bedding for the dogs.
The team’s efforts made the local newspaper, the Ross-shire Journal. Below is the snippet of the article.
As mentioned in the article, Apex Highland couldn’t complete this challenge without the generous donations from local businesses. Special thanks to David Ross of Ross & Co Painters and Decorators and Gordon Brown from Safe Access Highland.
