Following Apex Stranraer’s highly successful Santa float fundraising event just before Christmas, its U Turn service was presented with a cheque for £500 from Stranraer YMCA this week. Having been an annual event in Stranraer for some years, the U Turn volunteers spent two months building a brand new float so that the tradition could continue and the money is in recognition of all their hard work.
