The pupils of Apex Inclusion Unit in Dunfermline High School are raising money for a trip to Alton Towers both for young people involved in the school’s Challenge Programme and those who are facing difficult circumstances. The most recent fundraising event, bag packing at Asda, raised £427.
Apex Inclusion Fights Fires
Dunfermline High School 3rd and 4th year pupils who attend the Apex Inclusion Unit there were invited to spend a week with Scottish Fire and Rescue Service in Fife, learning what it means to be a fire fighter. The full-time course is specifically designed for youths, highlighting the effects and hazards of fire as well as training in first aid, and drug and alcohol awareness.
