The pupils of Apex Inclusion Unit in Dunfermline High School are raising money for a trip to Alton Towers both for young people involved in the school’s Challenge Programme and those who are facing difficult circumstances. The most recent fundraising event, bag packing at Asda, raised £427.
The efforts of the Inclusion Unit have come to the attention of other groups of students in the school who have contributed to their fundraising total and also to some Fife fire fighters who worked with some of the pupils recently and who have now volunteered to accompany the young people on their trip.
