A group of third years from Lochgelly High School who follow the Flexible Curriculum group took part in a three day team building course led by Inclusion Co-ordinator, Kirsty Yeoman, Acting Schools Development Officer, Trish Bowerbank and George Murray who is a CLD worker for the Benarty area.
The group was split into two teams; each leaving the school on separate days to climb the Lomond Hills where they had to work together to build a tent for shelter and build a fire to make lunch for each other. The pupils were then led in some team activities which looked at personal space, breaking points and supporting each other. When the two groups came together on the final day they participated in some fun activities with discussions such as bullying and their own conduct. The three day session ended with group sharing positive aspects about each other.
