Staff at Apex Forth Valley are encouraging local women to take advantage of the exciting WOW programme that focuses on self confidence, health and wellbeing. They also offer an excellent Lifeskills programme for 16-18 year olds that develops social and employability skills.
Justice Secretary launches new social enterprise
Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill was on hand to formally launch Apex Scotland’s social enterprise business All Cleaned Up on 19 June. All Cleaned Up is an industrial cleaning and waste disposal company that has its premises in Sandport Place, Leith.

Tree of Tranquility helps bereaved parents
A team of staff and service users from Apex Highland were happy to join forces with horticultural staff from High Life Highland and Inverness Floral Hall to help with landscaping and to install a life-sized sculpted memorial tree for bereaved parents. The Tree of Tranquility is designed to display bronze leaves that commemorate the short lives of babies that have died and help bring some solace to the parents.
Apex Inclusion Unit wins praise from BBC One Show
Staff and pupils from Apex Scotland’s Dunfermline High School Inclusion Unit were thrilled that the successful results of their efforts to reduce exclusion numbers in the school was recognised and broadcast by the BBC’s One Show on Tuesday 29 May.
