In May of this year, the Princess Royal, in her role as Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, paid visit to the marina and Stair Park community garden.
During her time in Stranraer, Princess Anne toured the marina, meeting key people associated with its development, local fisherman, and voluntary groups, and unveiled a plaque marking the start of works on the St Ayles Skiff Boathouse.
Apex was fortunate to receive an invite to the event where both staff, service users and volunteers were introduced to the Princess Royal.
