This service offers employability support for Fife care leavers.
Personal Development Mentors work on a one-to-one basis to assess, inform, signpost and support young people to positive destinations such as employment, training and further education.
Work is done on all aspect of employability skills, including CVs, job, training and college applications, interview skills. Individuals can also be accompanied to appointments and interviews.
Encouragement and support is given to young people to be able to take the initiative to improve their own job prospects.
This service is for 16-21 year old care leavers in Fife, who have been looked after and accommodated by Fife Council for a period of at least 13 weeks after their 14th birthday, and still in care at school leaving age.
Referrals are given directly from Fife Council Social Work’s Young People’s team.
