Lochgelly High School and local drug and alcohol service The Zone came together last Wednesday and delivered a training day to pupils around the impact/consequences and effects that drugs and alcohol can have.
Following an initial consultation with the the young people in the Apex Inclusion Unit, the group participated in various activities on the topic of drugs such as the effects on the body, the law and employability.
Two Inclusion Unit pupils, Tegan Agnew and Kyle Lorimer, will now help to deliver other sessions and be peer mentors for fellow pupils, having received the relevant support to enable them to do this.
