We now require an Accounts Officer to join our finance team based at our Head Office in Edinburgh.
As the post holder you will work as part of a small and busy team who each have responsibility for general accounting functions of Apex Scotland and Apex’s social enterprise, All Cleaned Up. This will include undertaking the payroll function, the maintenance and provision of accurate and timeous monthly management accounts for Apex Scotland and each budget centre as well as All Cleaned Up. You will have a role in the production of end of year financial statements and annual revenue budget as well as some day to day functions including processing of invoices or staff expenses. This role will be varied and will require experience of, and a sound understanding of, finance procedures, a keen eye for detail, the ability to communicate effectively and excellent organisational skills.
