Apex Scotland is the leading employment and training organisation specialising in work with people with convictions. We are delighted to be working in partnership with Enable and Barnardo’s Works as part of Moray Council’s employability programme – All in Moray.
This exciting collaboration between three of Scotland’s biggest and most effective employability agencies will provide a specialist employability service to residents of Moray seeking employment or who wish to progress in their current employment. We will accomplish this through the delivery of highly engaging and accredited employability training, delivered by skilled and highly motivated staff.
If you are a self-motivated individual with knowledge of employability or experience of working in the employability sector and you want to work for a dynamic organisation that values and rewards its staff, then we really want to hear from you.
We are looking to recruit two Personal Development Mentors who will work closely with our Highland team based in Inverness, covering the Moray area.
We will provide training and support to help you succeed and thrive in the role. We will give you every opportunity to showcase your talents and we will provide a fair and safe working environment that values you as an individual regardless of your background, your race, your sexual orientation or gender identity. We want to hear from anyone who wants an exciting challenge working for one of the most diverse and professional organisations in Scotland.
For these posts you should be able to demonstrate good communications skills, be approachable and compassionate and have knowledge or experience of employability. Experience of working to deadlines and targets is desirable. A keen eye for detail and understanding of good record keeping is essential. You would need to demonstrate flexibility and an understanding of partnership working. Some travel will be required therefore a driving license and access to a vehicle or a means of transport is an advantage. This new and exciting service is currently funded until end of March 2023 and we are hopeful of extension.
So, self-motivated, individuals looking for a challenge, step forward and work for Apex Scotland in Moray
