Due to changes in staffing, we are now looking to appoint a self motivated and talented individual to manage the operational aspect of this unique service.
The Operational Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the exceptionally high quality of service delivery is consistent across all schools and continues to improve. This post will work closely with the Development Manager who is responsible for engaging with local authority education departments to promote the Apex Inclusion model. The role will require the post holder to develop an in-depth understanding of school approaches to engaging with disadvantaged or disengaged pupils as this will be crucial in enabling Apex to become a key player in supporting this. The roles of both Apex Inclusion Service Managers are closely linked and will work together regularly to maintain an overall quality service, there will also be the requirement to support and possibly cover in the absence of the other on occasion. For this post a driving licence and access to a means of transport would be an advantage due to the geographical spread of the units.
For this Operational Management post, you will be responsible for maintaining the exceptionally high standard of service delivery. You will provide direct line management to a group of exceptional staff including their personal development, supervision and annual appraisal. You will have responsibility for the overall operational management to ensure that the units meet their strategic goals, performance targets and contract compliance. Development and maintenance of positive relationships with current and potential school partners will be crucial.
