All Cleaned Up Scotland is a social enterprise business, based in Edinburgh with services covering Edinburgh and the Lothians, Glasgow, Fife and the Dundee area. We undertake a range of services including industrial and void property cleaning, and clearance works, stairwell and window cleaning. Due to an increase in workload and additional investment in new work areas we have decided to strengthen our existing Management Team. We have been able to do this with support from the Scottish Government and the Enterprise Ready Fund and we now require a Supervisor/Mentor to join our team.
Working alone or with others, you will provide robust supervision of cleaning and/or clearance services that meet or exceed the customer’s expectations, ensuring compliance with recognised good practice standards that also meet operational goals and financial targets. You will also have responsibility to ensure the good health, safety and welfare of yourself and others. You will manage the day to day activities of the dedicated cleaning squads across the country. These squads will normally consist of 2 technicians and up to 2 trainee placements. This configuration may change from time to time to meet business needs and we will require the Supervisor/Mentor to be flexible and organised with excellent communication skills. The skills and needs of the squads will also require the Supervisor to also act as Mentor to ensure individuals are gaining valuable work experience and skills from their placements. In addition you will carry out relevant quality checks on work completed to ensure that our standards are being met or exceeded. Experience of working in the cleaning/clearance environment and using specialist equipment is desirable. A driving license and the ability to motivate and supervise others are essential skills in this post. The post will be subject to a Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check.
Further information on the business can be found on All Cleaned Up’s website.
