Apex Scotland is the leading employment and training organisation specialising in work with people with convictions.
The Apex Highland Unit provides a range of services to individuals who face multiple barriers to returning to work and individuals who may be long term unemployed.
To support the managers and staff who oversee these growing services, Apex now requires a dynamic and highly organised Administrator to join the team.
The Administrator will undertake general day to day office and reception duties and play a pivotal role in working alongside the Centre Co-ordinators to ensure contract compliance. Due to the range of the many services we deliver, administration support will range from assisting the team with collating information, document production, research, and file and database maintenance. Office experience is desirable along with a responsible attitude, good communication and team working skills, plenty of initiative and an eye for detail.
This post is currently funded by European Structural Funds until 31 December 2022. At this time, this initiative will phase out due to Scotland no longer being a member of the European Union, and will be replaced by the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF). Apex is currently preparing a funding transition to the SPF and with that, is hopeful of sustained project activity from January 2023, either from SPF directly or through other Scottish Government or local government funding to bridge the service gap between the two funding initiatives.

Rate of pay: Salary Scale £18,560 - £19.699 per annum
Hours of work: 35 hours per week and may require some evening or weekend working. Part time/job share considered.
