Apex has trained and experienced staff who provide a tailored service in order to help individuals progress, and to help them set and reach their goals. Even during the covid-19 pandemic our staff made the most of technology and found innovative ways to continue to support our service users, including the development of our STACC online training portal which was implemented within weeks to keep clients focused and engaged. The development of STACC has led the introduction of a new SQA Employability qualification for our clients which can be delivered entirely remotely, and the reduction of CPO hours by utilising online delivery, even post-pandemic.
The majority of our clients have barriers which could prevent them progressing but no matter which service they engage with, our staff motivate them to various outcomes including volunteering, training, further education and employment, some for the first time in years.
