Apex provides a number of training opportunities which can be made available across Scotland. With the exception of one, all of our courses can be funded through Individual Training Accounts (ITA) and will be of benefit to anyone seeking employment or for employers who wish to upskill their own staff. Our fully qualified trainers will be happy to discuss your requirements.
Organisations wishing to deliver these courses to groups of staff can contact Apex Scotland’s training department for a free quote. Please contact Derek Milligan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please Note: On Friday 7 December 2018 we were advised by Skills Development Scotland that ITA funding was closed to new applicants with immediate effect. We have been advised that this early closure of the fund has been due to higher than anticipated demand.
This means that any individual who has applied for a training course through My World of Work but which has not been verified/confirmed by the training provider by that date is not eligible for ITA funding at the current time. Affected individuals will be able to reapply if, as expected, ITA funding re-opens in April 2019.
This decision has been taken by Skills Development Scotland and is regretfully outwith Apex Scotland’s control.
Apex Scotland will still run training courses for individuals who can self-fund or who engage with our Steps service. Our full CSCS course for the green labourer’s card costs £200 (free while taking part in the Steps service). If you would like further information about CSCS or our other training courses please contact us on 0131 220 0130 or telephone your local Apex office. If you would like further information about ITA funding including registering your interest in funding for next year, please email email@example.com.
We will update our website as soon as we are made aware of any changes.
