For this post you will have knowledge or experience of employability assessment of clients with specific needs, and working with people of differing abilities. You will be responsible for developing and delivering an exciting and engaging group work programme working on life skills and specific employability skills. This will include using your initiative to develop sessions and work 1 to 1 with people, with the aim of encouraging personal and social responsibility, along with self respect.
Experience of delivering group work and working with people in a 1 to 1 setting is essential. Knowledge or experience of basic Microsoft Office packages including databases is essential. Good organisational and administration skills are essential. We work closely with other organisations to meet the needs of our diverse client group therefore experience of multi-agency working is desirable. Prospective candidates should note that this post would also require participation in outdoor activities and substantial travel and training, therefore a current driving license and vehicle or access to a means of transport is essential.
In view of the nature of this post, the successful candidates will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme.
