Apex Scotland is the leading employment and training organisation specialising in work with people with convictions. We are delighted to be working in partnership with Enable and Barnardo’s Works as part of Moray Council’s employability programme – All in Moray.
This exciting collaboration between three of Scotland’s biggest and most effective employability agencies is now providing a specialist employability service to residents of Moray seeking employment or who wish to progress in their current employment. We accomplish this through the delivery of highly engaging and accredited employability training, delivered by skilled and highly motivated staff. The post holder will work closely with our Highland team based in Inverness, covering the Moray area.

For this post you should be able to demonstrate good communications skills, be approachable and compassionate and have knowledge or experience of employability. Experience of working to deadlines and targets is desirable. A keen eye for detail and understanding of good record keeping is essential. You would need to demonstrate flexibility and an understanding of partnership working. Some travel will be required therefore a driving license and access to a vehicle or a means of transport is an advantage. This exciting service is currently funded until end of March 2023 and we are hopeful of extension.
In line with recent guidelines Apex Scotland staff are currently working a hybrid working model therefore some home working can be agreed where appropriate. This post is funded by the European Social Fund and 100% the post holder’s time will be spent delivering this activity.
In view of the nature of this post, the successful candidate will be required to join the PVG scheme.

Rate of pay: Salary Scale £21,412 - £23,698 per annum
