Due to potential new business throughout Scotland, We are now looking to recruit a number of sessional experienced trainers to join our teams throughout Scotland. Apex Scotland offers a diverse range of services for young people and adults to help them break down barriers to employment and engage in education, employment or community activities.
We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals who have experience of delivering training programmes, in particular employability programmes to a diverse group of people. We will provide all the training required and you will provide effective communication skills, personality, dynamism and sound organisational skills. Experience of working with those considered harder to reach or support would be an advantage
The successful candidates will have an aptitude for delivering innovative group sessions and the ability to engage with service users on a one to one basis to assist them to overcome barriers to progression. An understanding of the Criminal Justice system would be beneficial but not essential as training in this area will be provided. You would need to demonstrate flexibility as some travel may be required therefore a driving licence or access to a means of transport would be an advantage.
Please state which area you live in and how far you might be prepared to travel.
Whilst having previous experience of delivering employability programmes or training would be an advantage, as we will be providing training on the delivery content, the most important factor is that the right person has experience of delivering training, is approachable and friendly and above all is non-judgemental.
If you want to discuss the posts informally please contact Gerard McEneany, Director of Operations on 07989 477731 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
In view of the nature of this post and the requirement to work with children and/or vulnerable adults, this post holders will be required to join the relevant PVG schemes.
