Apex Scotland offers a diverse range of services for young people and adults to help them remove personal barriers to employment and engage in education, employment or community activities. We also work in partnership with many organisations and employers.
We have secured Phase 2 funding through European Social Fund’s National Third Sector Fund. We are now looking to recruit staff to strengthen the operational management of our various teams delivering the ESF-funded ‘Steps’ employability service.
We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals who have effective communication skills, who want career progression and can demonstrate at interview that they can lead teams, ensure contract compliance and motivate staff to achieve the expectations of our funders.
With the aim of adding value to our Steps employability service, this role will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering vocational training to Apex staff and service users. This may involve some travel to ensure training is accessible to all. The base for this post is negotiable.

In view of the nature of this post and the requirement to work with vulnerable adults, the post holder will be required to join the relevant PVG scheme.

Rate of pay: Salary Scale £21,686 to £23,829 per annum
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
