Apex Scotland is partnering with Celtic FC Foundation to create life-changing opportunities for young people across Glasgow. Funding from Cashback for Communities is being used to introduce the Gateway to Employment project, aimed at 18-24 year olds who are at risk of (re)offending. Justice Secretary, Kenny MacAskill joined Tony Hamilton, CEO of Celtic FC Foundation and Apex Chief Executive, Alan Staff, to make the announcement in June this year.
Over the next three years, the project will engage with more than 100 young people in areas of Glasgow with the highest rates of crime and anti-social behaviour to support them in developing new skills through volunteering, training or employment opportunities.
