On Friday 17 March the Highland Community Justice Partnership hosted a Conference called “Where is the Justice in Poverty”, discussing how poverty makes people more vulnerable to entering the justice system and how it continues to affect them whilst they are caught up in it.
As part of this, we were delighted that STV visited our team in Inverness to see how we support and work with people who are in this position and the positive difference Apex makes. Reporter Nicola McAlley said “It was great to speak to service users, they all spoke so well about their own experiences. Please thank everyone for taking part….they were all excellent speakers.”
The following two links are recorded from the STV news broadcast on 16 March.
Thank you to our staff and service users for making the STV team so welcome and for being so open and engaging about their own experiences.
