Fife Young Carers staff visited the Apex Inclusion Unit in Lochgelly High School recently and were presented with a donation from the pupils. The students raised £420 for Fife Young Carers and the Inclusion Unit by organising and taking part in a sponsored walk across the Forth Road Bridge earlier in the year in their onesies and carrying glow sticks.
Fife Young Carers will be using the donated money to take selected young people who have a significant caring role on holiday this summer.
Roy McGregor, Fife Young Carers Manager, presented the Inclusion pupils with Saltire certificates to formally recognise the commitment and contribution of the young people.
